This morning, I was endorsed an active labor.  Her pushing stage was long - over 2 hours, but my 18th handle was finally born at 9:40am.  He is about 6 1/2 pounds and super adorable!  Right after birth, my patient hemorrhaged, but after praying, getting an IV going, giving her oxytocin, etc., it subsided & she's doing really well now.

    So glad mommy is doing well. :) But, I'm confused. (as usual) hee hee What's the difference between handling a birth, catching a baby, etc. Cuz here it says 18 handles, but I thought you delivered 55 babies?

      Hi Auntie! So there is no difference...when I mention the lower number, it's because I am referring to the babies that I have handled just during this trip :-)
