They have a lot of cattle here.

bat caves

The first place that we visited was the bat caves.

An estimated 55 million bats live in this cave!!

They have some beautiful flowers here.

Next, we visited the waterfalls.  It has become more expensive recently, due to becoming a touristy place, so we didn’t spend much time here.

They have a lot of pretty goats here – very colorful.

P6300357

We enjoyed eating lunch at a little dining place.  We ordered rice, chicken adobo, soup, & a clam/vegetable salad.

Durian is the country’s well-known fruit.  People describe it as tasting like cheese, garlic, onion, mango/banana, etc.  I definitly didn’t taste garlic or onion in the one that we got.

P6300365

The yellow pods are what we eat.

Heidi is going home in a few days, so I am trying to spend as much time with her as I can before she leaves.  Thank you Heidi for your friendship!

Aaron has been here for about 10 days.  He is quite adventurous in trying everything, except for the water!
